The Rockfish have arrived along the barrier islands and in the lower bay. Fishermen are coming from all over to have their chance at catching a trophy rock. The strongest concentration is around the Chesapeake Bridge Tunnel and north to Cape Charles. Stripers have been caught out of Wachapreague but not in big numbers. Commercial fisherman are netting real beauties out of Wachapreague since early December.
